I need technical help

[1] Cancun User's Guide

I have to convert http://www.cafecancun.com to PHP. I am thinking about setting it up more like a blog, using a content manager such as PHPNuke, which installs automatically on my server.

All of the material is now in html and MS Word. Is there anyway of automating conversion to PHP and/or blog format?

I started this last year and have really neglected it. A lot of very good writing comes through this list. The archive is competent but clunky, standard lsoft. I'd like to show it to a larger audience. Many of my friends and professional acquaintances do not like mailing lists because they are already handling too incoming much mail. They prefer to look at specific items in a forum and read comments selectively.

I have MoveableType installed and running. I need some technically astute volunteers to help me turn it in to an online magazine. All subscribers to newsroom-l will be eligible to submit material, but the publication standards will be stricter. The material will have to conform to professional style standards. I don't want to have to massage anything, but I do want this to look like the bees knees. Chit-chat will be relegated to the Comments.
